FUNDRAISING

 

The Expo Council of Parents and Teachers is a non-profit organization that supports EXPO students, families, teachers, and staff by raising money to enrich learning opportunities and help our students and teachers with special initiatives. The Council relies on your financial support.

We recognize not all families are able to contribute financially. Donations of your time and talent are also greatly appreciated. Watch for ways to get involved or contact us any time with your ideas.

A little about our annual fundraising efforts...
The Council needs to raise $45,000-$60,000 annually just to keep up with our regular activities, such as music programming, funding for field trips, classroom support, health and safety support, teacher appreciation activities, and books and other materials.

Direct Donations
Some families would prefer to support the Council directly with a cash donation. Your cash donation is tax-deductible and 100% of your contribution directly supports EXPO Elementary.
 

Dining Out Events (Throughout the Year)
Throughout the year we host “dining out” events at restaurants throughout St Paul.  Those restaurants donate a portion of the profits of that night to the EXPO Council.  

Spring Fundraiser and Silent Auction
This “parents’ night out” event allows parents to socialize outside of school with EXPO families while raising funds for the school. The silent auction raises $20,000-$30,000 to support Council activities.
